I was born and raised in the Chicago suburbs, and transplanted to the middle of Indiana. I’m a retired Systems Analyst, homeschooling mom, La Leche League Leader, and 4-H Leader. Currently I’m a substitute teacher, as well as a mom, grandmother, daughter, sister, and wife. I knit, sew, crochet, cook, garden, paint the house (inside and out), and take apart my computers when they need fixing. I’ve camped, cruised, and climbed mountains. But at the very core, I’m a genealogist, through and through. My dead people, other people’s dead people–it doesn’t matter . . .
